Trovu is a managed outbound service operated by Sentrax GmbH, Platz 4, 6039 Root, Switzerland ("we", "us"). This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect personal data in connection with our website (trovu.io) and our services.

2. Data we collect

2.1 Website visitors

We do not currently use website analytics or tracking tools. No cookies are set for analytics purposes and no personal data about website visitors is collected or shared with third parties.

2.2 Whitepaper downloads

When you download our whitepaper via the form on our website, we collect your name, email address, and company name. This data is processed by Tally (our form provider) and stored in our systems. We use this information to deliver the whitepaper and may follow up with relevant information about our services. You can opt out of follow-up communication at any time by replying to any email or contacting us at jafar@trovu.io.

2.3 Demo bookings

When you book a demo call, we collect your name and email address through Cal.com (our scheduling provider). This data is used solely to schedule and conduct the meeting.

2.4 Client data

If you become a Trovu client, we process data necessary to deliver our service, including: seed company information you provide, contact data sourced from professional databases for outreach purposes, and email engagement data (opens, replies, bounces). Client data is stored in secured Google Workspace and our self-hosted workflow infrastructure.

2.5 Outbound email recipients

As part of our managed outbound service, we send B2B emails to professional contacts at companies identified through our discovery process. The data processed includes: professional name, business email address, job title, and company name. This data is sourced from professional databases and publicly available business information.

The legal basis for this processing is legitimate interest (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f) / Swiss nDSG Art. 31(1)). We contact people solely in their professional capacity, about services relevant to their business role. Every email includes a clear opt-out mechanism, and unsubscribe requests are honored within 24 hours.

3. Data processors

We use the following third-party services to deliver our website and services:

Where data is transferred to processors outside Switzerland or the EEA, appropriate safeguards are in place (Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent mechanisms).

4. Data retention

Website analytics data is retained in aggregate form and does not contain personally identifiable information. Whitepaper download data is retained for 12 months unless you request earlier deletion. Client data is retained for the duration of the client relationship plus 12 months. Outbound contact data is retained for the duration of the campaign and deleted within 6 months of campaign completion, unless a business relationship is established.
